For the first year, it is free to you and your publisher to have your book on Lookybook. Your publisher may be charged an agreed upon fee to remain on the site after that.

How will my book get seen on Lookybook?
Your book will get seen in a number of ways. The best way to get it noticed is to refer your friends and customers to the site. Your book can also be searched by your name, book title and key words. Our referral book will suggest your book to other viewers on occasions where is shares something with the book they are viewing. The more people that view and comment on your book, the more often it may appear on our ‘Most Looked at’ page.

Will Lookybooks take the place of real books?
Lookybooks are fun and helpful, but they will never take the place of a real book in your child’s hands at bedtime. Lookybooks just help you pick the right books for you.

Will Lookybook help sales of an older book?
Yes, we believe that many books suffer early and unfortunate ‘backlisting’ and deserve to be revisited. Most books’ sales decline due to getting bumped from the shelves by new books and eventually become invisible to the public, not because they aren’t good. Because children’s books are generally timeless, a ‘previously published’ book can be just as meaningful to a child as a ‘just published’ book.
